White hat SEO and Black hat SEO – Light side versus dark side of the force

Today, many people say they have fastest ways to promote your website, they just come and propose you ways like “Get 1000 backlinks for $9.99”, “Your website submitted to 1000 search engines for only 50 bucks”, “Top rank on Google in 2 days”. Do you really think those techniques are good? Would you believe if someone told you “Join our affiliate program and get rich” or “10 millionaires’ techniques to make you rich from night to day”? If those techniques are so good, why don’t they use them for themselves?

Unless you earn a prize, or make a new facebook, windows, or something like that, you will never get rich from night to day. The same is for SEO, when you start making use of black hat techniques, you may even rank high, but once Google gets you, you will be penalized and back to stage zero.

And try to stay away from Black Hat techniques; they will just damage your SEO.
