Who Is Kate Hudson's Beau – and Dad-to-Be Matthew Bellamy

Kate Hudson is expecting a baby with Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, but just who is her British beau?

For starters, he's a rocker – just like Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes, Hudson's ex-husband and the father of her son Ryder, 7.

Bellamy, 32, has music in his blood. His father, George, was a guitarist for the '60s band The Tornadoes, which produced "Telstar," the first song by a British band to hit No. 1 in the U.S. Matt's own band, Muse, is a popular rock group that counts Twilight creator Stephenie Meyer among its ardent fans. Bellamy's musical tastes are eclectic, too: He has said he's "really into Lady Gaga."

Since he started dating Hudson, 31, about nine months ago, Bellamy has shown a fondness for travel, along with a romantic bent, having been spotted being affectionate with the across the globe.

Most recently the pair dined at Café Vida in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Before that, the couple were in Aspen, Colo., with Hudson's parents for the holidays.

Hudson and Bellamy looked love-struck in November, when they were spotted grinning widely and holding hands during a stroll through New York City.

Bellamy has also shown he has no problem taking his girlfriend on tour. The two got cozy over coffee at Hotel Imperial's cafe terrace in Vienna, Austria, in August during Muse's European tour. And in July, they had an impromptu double date with Renée Zellweger and Bradley Cooper in Paris.

All that's left for this cute couple, it seems, is an engagement announcement …
